Aubree turns 7

So I can'tbelieve that my goose is already 7. Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. So for this birthday she wanted to go the movies and have a party. We all went to Shrek Happily Ever After, bff Nikki included. Everyone even Bryce enjoyed the show. Then we stopped for McDonalds before starting to party with the cousins. Ady's friend Moira was even able to come and visit all the way from New York. So we played duck, duck, goose with water. Which the kids totally loved. Then played water balloon toss and ice piggies. Needless to say everyone got good and wet. We ate yummy chocolate cake and rocky road ice cream. Aubree is definitely a girl after my own heart. Presents was last and Aubree was way excited to get the unicorn pillow pet she has been yearning for. Now Brendan thinks he needs one and has been packing his pillow around saying "look at my pillow pet." Truth be known Brendan would says he wants a lady bug. I don't know how I feel about that. Ady has been way jealous of the pillow pet. What is it about these things? Maybe if they are good santa can bring them one for christmas.

Maiden voyage of the Hunsaker bus

So we finally did it. We got a UTV to haul the whole crew around in. Dan has been wanting to get something so we can all go out riding together. Whether it be another 4 wheeler or a utv, so this is what I was comfortable with getting. With what I see at work I was definetely not cool with Ady driving her own atv no matter what size. So we woke the kids up bright and early on saturday morning and went riding up American Fork Canyon. Brendan wasn't to happy about being woke up so early. So for half of the trip he kept saying "I hate mountains". Everyone else had a great time the whole trip. Brendan eventually warmed up to being in "the mountains".

So I decided to start this blog for 2 reasons. 1 this will be a good way to journal for my kids and 2 in hopes courtney will do the same thing so we can see what is going on with each others families. Here is for hoping!
